R+L Carriers Opens New Oklahoma Service Center
10/14/2024 - Wilmington, Ohio - Ohio-based transportation company R+L Carriers is pleased to announce the opening of a new service center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (OKC). This facility will replace operations at the former OKC location, utilizing updated infrastructure and additional amenities to better service local and regional customers.
Located at 8000 SW 15th Street, the OKC service center is closer to Interstate 40 than the former site, allowing for faster transit along the east-west corridor. It boasts 155 dock doors, a 10-bay maintenance shop, three-lane fuel island and 7,800 square feet of office space. This new location will offer greater capacity compared to the previous terminal, reducing transit times as well as enhancing overall service capability.
In addition to servicing the Oklahoma City area, OKC will also deliver to Norman, Edmond and Lawton, among other local markets. Overall, R+L Carriers maintains two service centers in Oklahoma, including this latest terminal in the state capital and a Muskogee facility situated further east.
